Swiss Academy of Humanities and Social Sciences

To celebrate its 75th anniversary, the SAGW (Swiss Academy of Humanities and Social Sciences) is organizing a public event at Bern's main station square and at the Berner Generationenhaus. The challenge was to find a suitable name for the event that would do it justice. So we thought about what humanities and social science scholars actually do. Do they just pore over dry books all day long? "No way!" – There will be lots to discover. Exciting fields of research will be presented at 12 market stalls, and visitors will have the opportunity to talk to criminologists, discuss law and cultural policy, and much more. We took inspiration from the SAGW logo for the look and adapted it specifically for the event, using striking colors and a modern design. All communication materials were produced in German and French with the aim of giving equal weight to both languages.
