animated video
We designed and animated a strategy film for the employees of the Nationalstrassen Betrieb. Their motto is: «Our mobility your experience». We aimed for a colourful visualisation to be able to communicate the strategic content in a sympathetic and approachable way.

The process of creating an animated video begins with figuring out how written text can be visualized. Passages to be communicated are recorded, compiled, and used to develop ideas for a story. Next, a script—known as a storyboard—is sketched out, which visually explains the story and individual scenes.
An animatic—also known as a story reel—is created based on the scenes. An animatic is a preliminary stage of the finished film, in which the individual images of the storyboard are strung together in sequence to get a feel for the duration and rhythm of the film. Digital editing programs can easily simulate camera movements across the images as well as zoom-ins and zoom-outs.

Once all graphic elements and illustrations have been designed and digitized, we can breathe life into the characters. Compared to traditional film communication, characters are always popular. Viewers should not feel pressured to identify with the characters. However, they trigger positive emotions and can act dynamically due to their exaggerated portrayal.
